We have been in business for over 50 years and are located just North of Hartford in Bloomfield, CT. Our territory includes customers in the Northeast but we have performed work on a National basis. We are one of the leading Motor/Generator Repair Facilities in the Northeast. The ideal candidate would have an Associates Degree or equivalent Sales experience and the desire to work in a fast paced environment.

Position Overview

As part of the Sales Team, the Inside Sales will address inquiries from customers for new motors, drives, repair and overhaul of motors and generators as well as sales quotes. The candidate will be assigned to write proposals and post repair reports

Description Of Responsibilities

Ideal Candidate will meet and have the following responsibilities:

Work with Sales team to drive sales calls to current and prospective accounts.

Participate when necessary to set up trade shows, and customer events in collaboration with corporate marketing team.

Coordinate with Production Manager to respond to incoming sales calls and give status updates to customers

Advise customers on product application, availability, and charges

Compare competitive quotes using available company resources

Track all customer quotations to ensure timely follow-up

Track all customer orders to ensure customers are reasonably aware of when their product will arrive

Assist in all sales-related and customer service-related activities

Work with production team to coordinate pickup and delivery of work

Requirements

Excellent computer (Word, Excel and web based data management systems)

Superior oral and written communication skills

Associates degree in related field or equivalent experience

Prior experience working in Inside Sales or related industry

Knowledge of electric motors, pumps, blowers, gearboxes, bearings, VFD’s is preferred

Must display a high level of organizational skills
